Cypress Tree Swing 24”

A new Tree Swing made of Cypress Wood measures 24" long x 9 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" thick. Made from 1 inch thick Cypress Wood, New Tree Swing added strips on each end to prevent warping, rounded corners and edges. Drilled 2 3/4" holes in each end for rope. Comes with 12' of 5/8" Hand Spliced polypropylene rope on each side.

About the Wood: Cypress grows in abundance across the Gulf Coast. Cypress heartwood is one of the most durable woods. The Majority of wood range in age from 100 to 150 years old. Cypress Wood holds a natural preservative oil "cypressene" Which gives a strong resistance to bugs and decay.

Take one end of the strap loop and place over the tree limb or other structure, both strap loops should be the same distance facing downward. You then take one strap loop and place it inside the other loop. This appears as a double strap loop, like one is made inside the other. Take your metal clasp and hook it onto both strap loops. Insert your rope through the clasp and secure it with the supplied clamp. Click on image to enlarge
